Description
When my Mom had to go into assisted living, and we had to get the family home ready to sell, it was a difficult time. My brother was terminally ill, and he had tuned the family Steinway piano for the last time. We knew that after moving the piano, it would need to be tuned again, by someone else. We had always wanted to record some hymns on the beautiful Steinway, which my Father and brother rebuilt and completed in the early 1990’s, before Dad passed away in 1994. My wife Pam and I selected about a dozen hymns for her to play on the Steinway, for us to record “bare-bones” in the empty house for future use as a family music project. Thankfully, the recording turned out well, even though Pam did not have any real rehearsal time. Since then we have completed some of the hymns, some of which feature flute, and our daughter Alanna singing. From my family to yours, I hope it will be a blessing, and bless The Lord. Proceeds from this track will help in the completion of the forthcoming release, which we hope to complete and release this year, if The Lord allows. If you wish to donate to this project above the cost of the download, it will help with essential repairs of the walls and siding / sealing the studio.
Someday you’ll hear God’s Final Call to you
To take his offer of salvation true
This could be it my friend if you but knew
God’s Final call, God’s Final call.
How can you live another day in sin,
Thinking some day with Christ you will begin?
O will you hear above the world’s loud din-
God’s Final Call, God’s Final Call
If you reject God’s Final Call of grace,
You’ll have no chance your footsteps to retrace
All hope will then be gone and doom you’ll face.
O hear his call! God’s Final Call
